This website was created for Dark and Shattered Lands (DSL) a MUD that I play, and just happen to have a sea elven character in. I created this site because I can never find anything that pertains to aquatic elves on the net, what there is, is very small, so I hope that with your help I can make this site one of the largest ones out there. You can visit the official DSL website at www.dsl-mud.org Or if you are using a windows system you can play it via telnet by clicking Here Description of the game : Dark & Shattered Lands (DSL) is a Rom2.4/DSL2.0 mixed mud. (we combined the two sources) DSL offers both hack and slash and role-playing features but role-playing is required. Join one of the many clans and go to war, or if you have a distaste for player killing, join a Kingdom and conquer other using our Battlefield simulation code. You may even start your own kingdom with enough funds gathered. We offer 4 basic classes and then over 20 reclasses. There are also a variety of remorts to choose from including all 10 species of Metallic or Chromatic Dragons. Angels, Demons, Draconians are also available. DSL has Gods which are role-played by a gentle and thoughtful imm staff. Immortal abuse is not tolerated in the least on DSL and anyone may request a trial when they feel one is needed. DSL has some very unique aspects such as our Vampire system and Manatonics. Manatonics are born with natural powers, you get them purely by random. Vampires are secretive and no one knows who is one unless you are one yourself. The world is set upon 4 continents with a vast sea in between in which you can take a ship into combat against other ships. DSL offers a variety of races and classes with hundreds of new skills and spells. We also have a large player base averaging over a hundred daily. All it takes is for the right person to be in the right place at the right time to totally change the world. DSL has major quests weekly and smaller ones daily. |
