Q: What is the guild position on epics or power leveling?
A: The guild is not responsible for getting you your epics or power leveling, it is your job as a member to make enough friends in the guild that by the time you reach the point of epics, enough members will be more than happy to help you with it. Most members have earned what they have on their own and you will be expected to do so also.

Q: How do I become an Officer?
A: The answer, unfair as it is, is to somehow attract my attention, we are well on our way to being a large guild and as such I cannot watch all members all the time. I do however set up stuff to allow you a chance to prove yourself such as the recent wedding event where I asked for volunteers for various jobs. Sadly not many people emailed me asking to help, however those that did have somehow ended up as officers. You do the math.

Q: I am an Officer currently will my alts be as well?
A: If you choose for them to be then yes I will. Some members wish to keep their alts separate, some choose to put all their eggs in one basket. If you wish your alt to become an Officer ask me with the character that is an Officer currently. I picked you for Officership based on your attitude and attendance, and will gladly promote any other character you choose to play.

Q: I have been volunteering/helping/nice/recruiting etc but you still have not made me an Officer, what's the deal?
A: I run with the ratio of 1 Officer per 10 members, with the recent expansion you can check to see how many members we have total and how many officers total. If you see 100 registered members and 10 Officers then we are full and you will have to wait. Many, if not almost all, members desire a promotion, be aware that there may be quite a list of prospective Officers before you. No, I will not give you that list. I strive to be neutral in my choices for officership and pick those members who best reflect the attitude that I wish the guild to have, unfortunately I know there are quite a few really nice people in this guild are being overlooked because of their quiet nature or the differences in our level range keeps us from seeing each other often. Currently we have a level range of Officers between 12 and 62, which I believe to be an even and fair distribution.

Q: Every time I ask for help why does no one respond?
A: Just bad timing, believe it or not, everyone in the guild has his or her own goals, quests, toys to buy and sometimes they just want to work on those. I personally have seen members asking for power leveling while 95% of the guild is on a raid. Your chances of getting a response at that time don't look so good. Wait a bit, and then ask again. If you are asking for a group to help you get a rare/quest item you should look into just what they will get out of this, is this going to be nothing but a time sink for them, or is there a chance for loot that they can split. That will also affect how many people respond. A couple of examples:

Bob Bludnguts wishes to have an extremely rare scepter of barmaid summoning, he goes out on the web and researches this item. He finds out what zone it is in, how to get to the zone, level of the mobs and how to get the mob he needs to spawn. He also notices that just down the hallway are a group of mobs that have a common drop of fine steel weapons that the group can split. His chances of getting a group look very good.

Paul Poundonme wants to have the same scepter but doesn't bother to do any of the legwork for the quest and wants everyone else to tell him where to go and how to do it. Not looking so good here, as it states in the Guild Charter we honor the lone wolf. If you are like Paul you are not a lone wolf you are what we commonly call a burden.

Q: If it is X time in X time zone what time is it in X?
A: 6PM Pacific Standard Time is 7PM Mountain Standard Time, which is 8PM Central Standard Time, and 9PM Eastern Standard Time. Add an hour as you move east until you reach yours.
