The Rules |
Catweazels Earring Gah - i hate the Faydarks and I would sooner be back in Steamfont. I enjoy the mountains and especially the caves of Ak'Anon. I am beginning to get a distinct distaste for the smell of Orc blood. My training as an assassin is continuing under the watchful gaze of my master Welno - although I never actually see him - i kind of sense that he is there, and without me even saying anything in my reports, he just KNOWS how well I am doing. During my last session with him he was teaching me sleight of hand and without me feeling a thing he was deftly able to remove my coin purse as we were chatting. Although my own attempts to recover my purse were feeble, Welno was able to teach me the basics and I now enjoy sneaking up behind the Orc Pawns and removing their paychecks. Don't get me wrong, I am still nowhere near as good as my Master, and I have had to resort to a knife in the ribs on more than one occasion when the dumb orc brutes felt their pockets get a little lighter. As I was sat in the forest trying to keep dry, a vision of beauty flashed before me, a golden goddess. Lemme tell you - again - I am no saint but the honour and purity I felt from this woman made my Gnees Gnock - and my heart flutter. Maybe it had something to do with the Gnome women I am used to seeing, and they are tons of fun but the grace and elegance of this long legged golden paladin set my mind racing. I had to do something....but what?

Well the answer came faster than I thought as I followed my next mark through the Faydark woods. Sneaking up behind him, I was able to lift his purse with my best moves yet - and it was a fat one. At least 2 plat - and full of the memories of GoldenGirl (I don't even know her name yet) I called it quits for the night and headed into Felwithe for a well earned pint of ale. Is it just me or do those tree top streets get you dizzy? Perhaps its a Gnome thing? Perhaps it was my heart all a fluster, but as I swung over to the Inn, a merchants call grabbed my attention and before long her wares were laid out before me. Glittering there admidst the usual loot was a golden bauble and the price was just perfect - 2 plat. It was a jaunty swaggering gnome with a golden earring who entered the Inn that night with thoughts in my mind of how to find the Paladin - the girl with the Heart of Pure Gold - and now with my armor and my bauble I was dressed to impress.
